The New York Unit invites you to attend our Spring Meeting at the historic John Jay Homestead in Katonah, New York. Our speaker is Sam Sifton, food editor of The New York Times and founding editor of The New York Times cooking website and an Eat columnist for the magazine. Mr. Sifton was the newspaper's restaurant critic for two years. He promotes local and sustainable food sourcing at home and in restaurants and is author of Thanksgiving: How to Cook it Well.

An herbal lunch will be served and there will be a raffle. Herbs, perennials, herbal items and herb-related kitchen and garden products will be available for sale. Registration begins at 10:00am. The program is open to all HSA members and the general public.

A donation to support the Herb Garden maintained by our unit is suggested. Seating is limited therefore pre-registration is required at herbsocietyny@gmail.com
