Library Book Sale

Books that are donated to the HSA Library are sometimes duplicates of titles we already have on our shelves. Instead of discarding them, we add them to a list for our annual members’ book sale. Donors are made aware of this.

Books are priced well below retail prices, and buyers are asked to pay for shipping/handling costs. Proceeds from the sale help support the Herb Society of America Library and Archives, which includes but isn't limited to the online catalog system, new books, and archival supplies.

The book sale usually starts in the fall each year. Books that don’t sell will be added to next year’s sale.

Members can request the list by emailing library@herbsociety.org. You'll be sent a list of books with prices and instructions for making your purchase.
