Herbs in the Square Foot Garden

Do you want to grow herbs and vegetables, but don’t have a lot of garden space? Square Foot Gardening Certified Instructor, Kim Roman, will show you how to incorporate both into a virtually care-free garden space. She learned from SFG author and creator of the method, Mel Bartholomew and has been teaching food gardening since 2010. Kim is the author of two books: How to Garden Indoors & Grow Your Own Food Year-Round (March 2022) and the recently released Growing Herbs for Health, Wellness, Cooking, and Crafts (April 2024), both published by Fox Chapel Publishing.

Kim Roman’s passion is teaching small-space, high-intensive vegetable and herb gardening to help people “Confidently Grow Their Own Food!” She has been a Square Foot Gardening Certified Instructor since 2010, and was taught by author and creator of that well-known method, Mel Bartholomew. Her newest book, Growing Herbs for Health, Wellness, Cooking, and Crafts, is focused on culinary herbs because most people are familiar with them, and are probably already growing them in their gardens.
