Introduction to Herbs: Their Use and How to Grow Them will be held on consecutive Sundays, March 31st and April 7th from 1:00 to 3:30 pm. The March 31st program covers the history of herbs, herb family characteristics and use, horticultural needs for plant health, and propagation of herbs. The April 7th program covers basic herb garden design, bed preparation, choosing/planting herbs, and harvesting and use of herbs.

These programs are an introduction to herbs, but whether you are a novice or an experienced gardener you should find something new or interesting in the presentations. The presentations will be a combination of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on activities. We are asking you to register for the sessions because the seating is limited.
