Pittsburgh became one of the industrial capitals of the world, but today it is transforming itself into a conservation-conscious city that is restoring its rivers and planting its riverfronts with native plants. Plots of acid mine run-off are now restored and becoming the new Pittsburgh Botanic Garden. We are just buzzing with activity and can’t wait to share!
