  Closures and orders to stay-in-place made us acutely aware of our proximi
 ty to greenspace and access to nature. This year's Conservation Symposium 
 theme plays off two possible paths to nature: our distance from nature spo
 ts and our connection to people who can bring us closer\, or introduce us\
 , to nature (ex. through programs and educational experiences). Presenters
  will cover topics related to greenspace infrastructure\, the revitalizati
 on of urban watersheds\, urban tree initiatives\, and programs designed to
  introduce people to bird/nature watching.\n\nThe event is scheduled for F
 riday\, October 30\, with virtual presentations in the morning. Attendees 
 can also choose to add a socially distanced afternoon field trip to a numb
 er of natural areas in the Cleveland region which showcase our urban green
