  2016 Fall Plant Sale on Saturday October 15th\, from 9 a.m. until 3:00 p.
 m. at 2202 General Pershing St\, New Orleans LA 70115. Enter at the gate o
 n Loyola Ave. off Napoleon Ave. Herbs\, butterfly plants\, annuals and per
 ennials will be offered for sale. On hand will be members of the local Her
 b Society unit to help gardeners select plants for culinary and ornamental
  uses. There will also be pop up presentations and discussions on various 
 planting techniques and uses of herbs. The sale is held at a private resid
 ence allowing attendees to see plants in their growing state. The garden f
 eatures a native garden\, irises and a collection of Salvia. The yard at 2
 202 General Pershing is certified by the National Wildlife Federation as a
  wildlife habitat and has been awarded the GreenBridges™  Award. The owner
  is a member of the Herb Society of America\, New Orleans Unit\, a LA Mast
 er Gardener and a LA Master Naturalist. The Old Garden Rose Society will a
 lso be participating in the sale selling roses propagated by their members
 . Members will be on hand to answer your questions about roses and help bu
 yers select an Old Garden Rose for their garden. Note: Due to growing cond
 itions\, quantities may be limited. The sale will benefit projects of the 
 New Orleans Botanical Gardens\, Longue Vue Gardens\, the Herb Society of A
 merica\, New Orleans Unit’s educational programs and other local gardening
