Expanding on the popular monthly webinar series, HSA is developing live, online workshops, on-demand programs, and demonstrations for those who wish to further their knowledge of herbs, their cultivation and use. Topics will encompass everything from growing to cooking to medicinal and craft use. Attendance at these educational events will be limited and a fee will be charged to both members and non-members. Members will always receive a discount.

Join us for a Culinary Demonstration using the best in spring herbs!

Preparing delicious, seasonal herbs and vegetables has become a form of culinary art. The colors, shapes, and textures of these fresh ingredients are the palette .The cooking techniques are the medium used to create beautiful and flavorful feasts. Channel your inner food artist just in time for the spring holidays! Chef Liz Barbour of The Creative Feast will demonstrate two herb-forward recipes that you will be happy to serve at your holiday table.

Chef Liz Barbour has been cooking professionally in the Boston area since 1992 and started The Creative Feast in 2004. Liz's cooking demonstrations and recipes have been featured on New Hampshire Chronicle, Channel 9’s “Cooks Corner” and in various publications including New Hampshire Magazine. In 2017, Liz published her first cookbook “Beautifully Delicious: Cooking with Herbs & Edible Flowers.”

Foodscaping with Herbs with Author and Lecturer Bri Arthur

A three-hour-long workshop featuring herbs in the seasonal foodscape. Foodscape design requires a well-balanced mix of flowering and edibles plants. Learn how to layer herbs in with your favorite perennials and vegetables to increase beauty and pollinator activity. Bri Arthur shares her unique management strategies to make your edible border low maintenance and full of life.
