Vision Statement:
The Herb Society of America is internationally recognized and respected as the premier resource for herbal education and information. The Society offers diverse educational opportunities and supports research to foster the preservation, cultivation and enjoyment of herbs.
Mission:
The Herb Society of America is dedicated to promoting the knowledge use and delight of herbs through educational programs, research and sharing the knowledge of its members with the community.

The Herb Society of America believes in:

- Providing opportunities for networking and the exchange of information and experiences.

Goals:
Goal 1.
Expand and diversify Society membership while strengthening relationships with current members.
Goal 2.
Collect, create and assure accessibility to HSA resources and information.
Goal 3.
Provide and foster a variety of educational programs and projects that reflect The Society’s mission.
Goal 4.
Guarantee The Society has the financial, technical and human resources necessary to achieve its goals.
