"Echinacea purpurea 'Fragrant Angel' is a counterpart to E. 'Ruby Giant,' the beautiful deep pink cultivar. Terra Nova Nurseries has been granted a patent for their introduction, so all plants for sale will be clonally reproduced. The plants will reseed in the garden as do other coneflowers, and you can expect to get variation with the seedlings. In the garden they grow to around 24 inches on strong stems; their 4-5-inch heads are white with a strong orange center cone. Ray flowers are not reflexed as in some coneflowers. The fragrance is delicate and delightful. It is being rated by some of the sources listed as the best white coneflower. Listed for Zones 3-9." – Dorothy Bonitz, Promising Plants Presentation, 2006

* This cultivar is protected by a plant patent.
** Although the species, Echinacea purpurea, is used medicinally, the chemistry/medicinal use of this particular cultivar is undocumented.
