2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ cup Crisco
½ cup ice water

6-8 firm apples
½ cup sugar
1 teaspoon finely chopped marjoram leaves
Crumbs:
½ stick butter

For crust, mix flour, baking powder and Crisco with a pastry blade.

Sprinkle flour on bottom of crust and lay in apples (slices on
the bottom, halves and quarters on top). Sprinkle apples with sugar
and marjoram leaves. Top with crumbs and sprinkle with cinnamon.
