The Herb Society of America Library Collection includes nearly 3,000 volumes covering a wide array of topics related to herbs and gardening. Materials collected include books, periodicals, videos, pamphlets, slide programs, resource kits and rare books.

Lending & Reference
Members may borrow items for a period of thirty days. Current mailing charges are the cost of shipping items out, and the borrower pays return postage. Materials may be requested via email, phone, letter or in-person.
Although circulation is limited to members, the library is open to the general public for browsing during regular business hours: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Over 500 inquiries are made to the library each year. A staff librarian is available to answer reference requests Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.
