The Western PA Unit will host Herbes de Pittsburgh 2007 at the Fox Chapel Golf Club, 426 Fox Chapel Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15238 on Wednesday, October 10th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This year's theme is "The Art of Flavor:
A Sensory Herb Experience" presented by Susan Belsinger, culinary herbalist, educator, food writer and photographer. Susan will share her passion for gardening and cooking by using robust herbs for cool weather in a demonstration of simple holiday dishes. The event will include a tasting of herbal hors d'oeuvres, marketplace and book signing featuring Susan's recently released book "The Creative Herbal Home". Cost is $40.
